BP p.l.c. was notified on 22 March 2010, by Dr B.E. Grote, a Director of BP p.l.c., that on 18 March 2010 he exercised an option to acquire 12,600 BP ADSs (ISIN number US0556221044) pursuant to the BP Share Option Plan at $48.94 per ADS, which were exercisable between 28 March 2001 and 27 March 2010. Dr Grote subsequently disposed of 9,756 ADSs acquired on 18 March 2010 at a price of $58.4217 per ADS; and 2,844 ADSs at a price of $58.4019 per ADS.

This notice is given in fulfillment of the obligation under DTR3.1.4 (1)(a)R.
