Bloomsbury Publishing Plc announces that Mr Charles Black, a Non-Executive
Director and Vice Chairman of the Company, on 2 October 2007 purchased 7,000
Ordinary Shares of 1.25p each in the Company at a price of £1.4675 per share.
Following this purchase, Mr Black has a total holding of 159,000 Ordinary Shares
in the Company (0.22% of the total issued share capital).
