              Big Yellow Group PLC ("Big Yellow" or the "Company")


Application has been made for admission to listing on the Official List of the
UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for
listed securities (together, "Admission") of the following shares:



-          9,100,000 shares issued pursuant to a placing announced this morning

-          1,000,000 shares issued pursuant to the exercise of options held
under the Big Yellow Group PLC 2000 Unapproved Option Scheme by Philip Burks, a
director of the Company



It is expected that Admission will become effective and dealings in the new
shares will commence no later than 8.00 a.m. on 17 July 2006.
