Beazley Group Plc ('Beazley'), one of the Lloyd's market leaders, announces that
a summary of its 2006 business forecast for Syndicate 623 is published today on
its company website (www.beazley.com). This summary business forecast has been
presented to Lloyd's members agents supporting Syndicate 623.

As part of its 2006 business forecast, Beazley is currently proposing a
de-emption of 5.7%, taking the combined capacity for Syndicates 623 and 2623 to
£700m for 2006 (2005: £742m). This is subject to Lloyd's approval.
