Additional Listing



Beazley Group plc ('the Company')



Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange plc for a total of 9,320,000 ordinary shares of 5p each to be listed
under a block listing, as follows:



420,000 ordinary shares pursuant to the Beazley Group plc Approved Option
Schemes;



1,800,000 ordinary shares pursuant to the Beazley Group plc Unapproved Option
Schemes;



1,500,000 ordinary shares pursuant to the Beazley Group Long Term Incentive
Plans;



4,200,000 ordinary shares pursuant to the Beazley Group plc Pre IPO Share Option
Scheme; and



1,400,000 ordinary shares pursuant to the Beazley Group plc Save as You Earn
Scheme.



Application has been made for the shares to trade on the London Stock Exchange
and to be admitted to the Official List upon issuance. It is expected that
admission of the block listing will occur on 29 January 2007.
