FUEL SURCHARGE INCREASE



British Airways will increase its fuel surcharge on all tickets issued from
Monday, February 25, 2008.



The decision reflects continuing high oil prices.



The changes will mean:

  • The surcharge for longhaul flights of less than nine hours will increase
    by £5 per flight from £48 to £53 (£106 return)
  • The surcharge for longhaul flights of more than nine hours will increase
    by £6 from £58 to £64 per flight (£128 return)



There is no change to the shorthaul fuel surcharge which will remain at £10 per
flight (£20 return).
