                    Listing of Convertible Bonds


Further to the Company's announcement on the 29th July 2008 following
the Placing of Convertible Bonds to raise ¤42m. Providence Resources
P.l.c.  ("Providence Resources" or the "Company") announces first day
of dealings of the Company's convertible bonds ('Convertible Bonds')
which have been admitted to trading on the Cayman Islands Stock
Exchange. The Convertible Bonds are freely transferable and can be
converted into ordinary shares of ¤0.001 each in Providence Resources
('Ordinary Shares') at the conversion price of ¤0.10 at any time.
