Balfour Beatty plc ('the Company') received notice today from Lloyds Banking Group Plc ('Lloyds') that Lloyds now holds 33,370,340 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 6.98% of the total voting rights of the Company.

Of the 33,370,340 ordinary shares, the Company has been advised that 1.05% comprise a direct interest in the Company's total voting rights and that 5.93% comprise an indirect interest in the Company's total voting rights.
