PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 24 November 2000, the Company
purchased a total of 60,000 shares for cancellation at a price of 139.50 pence
per share. Following this purchase, there are a further 197,340,263 shares in
issue.
