PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 29 December 2000, the Company
purchased a total of 150,000 shares for cancellation at a price of 133.60 pence
per share. Following these purchases, there are a further 195,310,263 shares in
issue.
