PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 23 November 2000, the Company
purchased a total of 65,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 138.50 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 197,400,263 shares in
issue.
