purchased 80,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 155.00 pence per share. 
Following the purchase, there are a further 202,158,263 shares in issue.


Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 6 September 2000, the Company
purchased 100,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 154.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 202,238,263 shares in issue.
