PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 7 July 2000, the Company purchased
131,484 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 148.58 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 203,913,260 shares in issue.
