PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 17 July 2000, the Company
purchased 50,426 shares for cancellation, at a price of 151.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 203,511,398 shares in issue.
