PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund Plc announces that on 14 January 2000, the Company
purchased 412,673 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 146.71 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 216,879,459 shares in
issue.
