PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 7 March 2000, the Company
purchased 139,506 shares for cancellation, at an average price of 150.53 pence
per share. Following the purchase, there are a further 211,952,052 shares in
issue.
