PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 15 October 1999, the Company
purchased 37,000 shares for cancellation, at a price of 138.50 pence per share.
Following the purchase, there are a further 223,091,870 shares in issue.
