The following amendment has been made to the 'Transaction in Own Securities' announcement released on 28 April 2023 at 17.05 under RNS No 9481X.

The share price was reported as 14.51p when it should have read 145.1p

All other details remain unchanged.

Purchase of Own Securities

On 28 April 2023, the Company purchased 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 145.1p. The shares purchased will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase of the above shares 313,902,485 ordinary shares of 2p each will remain in issue. Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon PLC will hold 350,000 ordinary shares in Treasury.

The above figure (313,902,485) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
