Retirement of Director

Foreign & Colonial Eurotrust PLC (the 'Company') announces that Mr Pedro
Schwartz, having reached the age of 70, will retire from the Board with effect
from the AGM in December 2005.

Mr Schwartz has been with the Company since 1993 and the Board would like to
thank him for his valuable contribution and commitment to the success of the
Company.
