AGM Statement

Intermodal Resource Plc 04 May 2006 May 4, 2006 Intermodal Resource plc AGM Statement The Annual General Meeting of Intermodal Resource plc was held today and all the resolutions proposed were duly passed. At the meeting the Chairman, Christopher Rogers, and the Chief Executive, Robert Montague, made the following announcement: 'The results for last year were very encouraging and we are pleased to say that the past progress has continued into 2006. The UK combined fleet for Trailerent and Tailored Hire has already been enlarged and the number of prospects for new business remains very healthy. Although we have seen delays in the signing of some contracts due to the continuing unpredictable ordering patterns as a result of current market conditions, we do not expect to lose any of the business that we had targeted as important to us. Assetcare, the online maintenance management service continues to complement the UK businesses and has now been successfully introduced into Tailored Hire's fleet as well as to third parties. Axis Intermodal, our German subsidiary, is performing to our expectations and is planning to increase its fleet by some 20 per cent this year. We are pleased that DFDS owned Steinle GmbH, a key client of Axis Intermodal, has renewed its contract with us for 700 swap bodies on a rolling annual basis. Overall, the group has made an encouraging start to the year and is performing in line with our expectations and the Board remains confident of sustained growth throughout the remainder of the year.'
