Result of AGM

At the Company's one hundred and fourteenth Annual General Meeting held today
all twelve resolutions were passed by Shareholders.

At the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting Sir David Kinloch retired as a
Director of the Company.

Further to the announcement of the Company's annual results on 18 November 2003,
Mr John May has today been appointed a Director of the Company.
