The Company announces that the rate (gross of income tax) on the Equities Index
Loan Stock 2013, for the quarter ended 31 March 2003 is 2.245p per unit
calculated on a net dividend basis, equivalent to £22.45 per 1,000 units. The
record date is 31 March 2003 and the payment date is 10 April 2003.
