Transaction in Own Shares

Aurora Investment  Trust plc  announces that  it has  today, 6  March
2008, purchased 160,000 of its own  ordinary shares in the market  at
179p per share.  5,725 of these shares will be held by the Company in
Treasury and the remaining 154,275 shares will be cancelled.

Following the cancellation, the  Company's issued share capital  will
be 14,952,975 ordinary shares.   A total of  1,510,725 shares is  now
held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with
voting rights in the Company will be 13,442,250.
