Aram Resources plc ('the Company')

The Company is pleased to announce that it has appointed Arthur Andersen
Corporate Finance as its Nominated Adviser with immediate effect.

The Company is also pleased to announce that Ted Dilley, currently a
non-executive director of the Company, will succeed Giles Nixon as Chairman in
the autumn.  Mr Nixon will remain as a non-executive director of the Company.

All the resolutions proposed at the today's AGM were duly passed.
