In accordance with 3.1.4R of the Disclosure Rules, Aukett Group plc was informed 
today that Paul Newman, a director of  Aukett Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary 
of the Company, has made the following purchases of ordinary 1p shares:

His total beneficial holding of 641,457 ordinary 1p shares represents 0.44% of 
the issued share capital of the Company. Prior to this announcement, Mr Newman
