New Unit Resolution Passed at EGM

                       MSW TECHNOLOGY PLC ('the Company')

At the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held today, the Resolution
was passed. It is expected that dealings in the Units (each comprising 2 new
Ordinary Shares, nil paid, and one Warrant) will commence tomorrow, Friday 17th
December, 1999.
