Award of Contract

Manpower Software PLC 07 November 2007 MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC ("the Company") AWARD OF CONTRACT Manpower Software plc announces a new contract with NATO. NATO's operational military headquarters, known as Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), has contracted with London-based Manpower Software plc for an integrated software system to help manage their Special Operations Forces (SOF). NATO's Special Forces Coordination Centre (NSCC) is a new branch currently being established within SHAPE near Mons, Belgium. In the new SOF application, it will support NSCC in the planning, training and generation of Special Operational Task Groups and staff augmentation to the required levels of readiness to fulfil future operational objectives. Multinational forces such as the NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan are coordinated by SHAPE, and Special Forces from 26 nations will use the Centre under the current leadership of an American two star Admiral. The NSCC will be the centre of all Special Operations Forces (SOF) doctrine, planning, training and force generation within NATO. It is designed to ensure that Special Forces from all NATO nations, large and small, use the same doctrine and methods for command and control, logistics and intelligence while conducting operations. SHAPE already use the Manpower Analysing and Planning System (MAPS, by Manpower Software plc) both to manage their 15,000 Peace-time Establishment employee records and for their Force Generation management.
