ATTACHMENT TO AMLIN PLC NOTIFICATION DATED 23 NOVEMBER 2000 OF LIMITED PARTNERS
IN ROSTRUM INVESTORS 2 L.P. AND OTHERS

The notification in respect of 11,385,757 Amlin plc Ordinary Shares ('Shares')
is the interest of the following limited partners in Rostrum Investors 2 L.P.:

Rostrum Limited
Enco Nominees Limited
Kleinwort Benson (Jersey) Trustees Limited (as Trustee of the Rostrum Group
Trust)
BriTel Fund Trustees Limited
Stargas Nominees Limited.

All of the above entered into a Limited Partnership Deed, to which Section 204
of the Companies Act 1985 applies, on 20 November 2000. Britel Fund Trustees
Limited and Stargas Nominees Limited are also interested in 7,924,876 (3.85%)
and 3,737,678 (1.81%) respectively of the Shares subject to this notification by
virtue of Sections 204 and 205 of the Companies Act 1985.

In addition, Northwestern Mutual has an interest in the 11,385,757 Shares
because its subsidiary companies, Rostrum Limited and Enco Nominees Limited, are
so interested.  Mr Michael J Wade is also interested in the same Shares as a
shareholder in Rostrum Limited.
