NOVATION OF MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT 

The Board of Edinburgh Dragon Trust plc announces that on 17 September 2009 its management agreement was transferred under a novation agreement from Edinburgh Fund Managers plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, to Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited, also a wholly owned subsidiary of Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. Certain terms of the agreement were amended to bring the agreement in line with market practice. However, the main commercial terms (including fee provisions) of the management agreement are unchanged.
