The Company received a notification on the 12 July 2002 from Barclays PLC,
informing it that Barclays PLC no longer have a notifiable interest in the
ordinary share capital of the Company.

It is understood that Barclays PLC beneficial interest is now 7,510,159 ordinary
shares (2.16%) and non-beneficial interest is 12,283,394 ordinary shares
(3.78%).
