Ordinary Shares of 10p

The Company has been advised today by a non-executive director, Christopher
Cole, that he purchased 20,000 10p ordinary shares in the Company on 20 January
2002 at a price of 50p per share. At that time, a number of non-executive
directors were purchasing shares in the Company but, by an oversight, this
particular transaction was not reported to the Company until today.

Both the Company and Mr Cole very much regret the oversight which has delayed
the reporting of the above transaction until today.
