                               Disposal of GMO MC


Anite Group plc ('Anite' or 'the Group'), the worldwide IT solutions and
services company, today announces that Anite Holding GmbH (an indirect wholly
owned subsidiary of Anite) has sold its shareholding in GMO Management
Consulting GmbH ('GMO MC'), to Dr K Spiller, the managing director of GMO MC,
for a cash consideration of £0.1m. GMO MC is the smallest of Anite's two IT
consultancy businesses based in Germany and employs 15 people.


Prior to completion the capital reserve of £0.7m was paid to Anite. In the year
ended 30 April 2006, GMO MC reported profit before tax of less than £0.1m.


Commenting on the disposal, Steve Rowley, Anite's Chief Executive, stated:


'We are pleased to have completed this disposal. This follows the sales of other
peripheral businesses in recent years and is in line with our stated strategy of
focusing on growth opportunities in our core markets.'
