                 CHANGE OF OFFICE AND NEW APPOINTMENT IN TURKEY


Ariana Resources plc ('Ariana' or 'the Company'), the gold exploration company
focused on Turkey, announces that it has moved the Head Office of its Turkish
subsidiary to the capital city of Turkey and has appointed a full-time Licence
Manager.

New Office Location

The move from the port of Izmir to the capital Ankara has become necessary to
improve efficiency as we expand. The relocation brings the Company closer to the
growing mining and exploration community in Turkey and to the various government
agencies with which the Company communicates most frequently, including the
Department of Energy and Natural Resources, Department of the Environment and
Forestry, General Directorate of Mining Affairs, and the General Directorate of
Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA).

The new office is manned permanently by our Office and Accounts Manager, Licence
Manager and Information Systems Geologist. All other personnel remain based at
our Field Office in Sindirgi. The address of the Registered Office in Turkey
remains unchanged.


Appointment of Licence Manager

Mr. Bulent Yilmaz has been appointed as Licence Manager to the Company and is
responsible for managing the administrative and legal requirements of
exploration/operational licences, applications and formal reporting for
licences, in addition to organising environmental and other operational permits
for our advanced projects. He is a Mining Engineer by profession, having
graduated from Dokuz Eylul University in 1992. After spending his early career
on several open-pit and underground mining operations for Turkish companies, he
spent four years with the Turkish subsidiary of Anatolia Minerals Development
Ltd. as a licence and permits manager.

In addition to replacing our consultant Licence Manager, this appointment also
satisfies legal requirements for a Mining Engineer to oversee activities on
operational licences held by the Company. The appointment represents a
significant increase in efficiency and operational streamlining for licence and
permit administration by the Company in Turkey.

Dr. Kerim Sener, Managing Director, commented:

the capital Ankara is symbolic of our intent to continue increasing our profile
