Purchase of own securities and Director's shareholding

Andrews Sykes Group plc announces that yesterday it purchased for cancellation
10,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 108p per share.

A further 20,000 Ordinary Shares have been purchased today for cancellation at a
price of 107p per share from Jacques Gaston Murray, a director of the company.
Mr J G Murray is now interested in 51,136,257 Ordinary Shares in the Company
representing 69.80 per cent. of the issued share capital.
