                   Notification of Directors Interest


The Board of Andrews Sykes Group plc (the ' Company') announces that  on
Tuesday  25  January 2000 Robert Stevens, the Company's Chief Executive,
was  granted options for nil consideration, over 300,000 ordinary shares
of 20p, exercisable at a price of 100.5p per share.

These  options are exercisable between 3 and 10 years from the  date  of
grant.   Following  the  grant of these options Robert  Stevens  has  an
interest  in  10,526 shares representing 0.011% of the Company's  issued
ordinary share capital.
