The  Board  of Andrews Sykes Group plc has today been notified  that  Mr
J.G.  Murray   transferred, on 7 January 2000, for nil consideration,  a
total  of  25,000  ordinary  20p shares.  Following  this  transfer  his
beneficial  holding  is  reduced  to  47,646,935  ordinary  20p  shares,
representing 55.25% of the Company's issued share capital.
