Notification of Director's Interest

Andrew Sykes Group plc was today notified by the Trustee that the 1998 Employee
Share Ownership Plan purchased a further 5,000 Ordinary 20p shares at 114p per
share.  Following this purchase the holding of the Employee Share Ownership Plan
is 240,000 Ordinary 20p share representing 0.281% of the Company's issued share
capital.

The following directors are potential beneficiaries under the Scheme and
therefore are deemed to have acquired a non-beneficial interest in these shares.
