Alumasc, the high specification engineering and building products group,
proposes to announce its results for the half year ended 31 December 2003 on
Thursday 12 February 2004.

On Thursday 12 February 2004, at 9:30a.m., a presentation to broker's analysts
and private client investment advisers will be held at the offices of Bankside
Consultants Limited, 123 Cannon Street, London EC4N 5AU. Those proposing to
