                            NOTICE OF BOARD MEETING



The board of directors (the 'Board') of Air China Limited (the 'Company')
hereby announces that a meeting of the Board of the Company will be held at The
Conference Room, Air China Building, 36 Xiaoyun Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing
on Tuesday, 28 August 2007 at 9 am for the purpose of considering and approving
the interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2007.
