                            ('AMS' or the 'Company')

The Company received notification that, on 14 October 2005, the Cavendish AIM
Fund acquired 250,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in AMS ('Ordinary Shares').
This shareholding is in addition to the 650,000 Ordinary Shares held by the
Cavendish AIM Fund, the 7,500,000 Ordinary Shares owned by discretionary clients
of Cavendish Asset Management and the 3,700,000 Ordinary Shares held by the
Cavendish Opportunities Fund. Cavendish Asset Management, through its direct and
indirect shareholdings, therefore holds 12,100,000 Ordinary Shares, which
represents 8.52 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
