Following the acquisition of Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited by its parent
Murray Johnstone Holdings Limited on 30 November 2000 they acquired 1,858,800
shares in Acorn Income Fund Limited. The total number of shares in which
Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited is interested in is 4,233,800 shares
representing 15.68% of the issued share capital of the Company.
