- Lo-Q to install Q-band at Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark: Pennsylvania's largest water park -

 

- Upon completion will represent 14th waterpark installation since Q-band's launch in October 2011 -

 

 

Lo-Q (AIM: LOQ), the AIM-listed technology solutions provider to the attractions and leisure industry, is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement to install its patented Q-band virtual queuing wristband solution at Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark in Pennsylvania.

 

With 37 slides and attractions, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is Pennsylvania's largest waterpark, enjoying record attendance levels in 2012. The five year contract will see the Q-band system installed in time for the Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark's 2013 summer season being utilised at 10 of the parks busiest slides. 

 

Q-band is Lo-Q's innovative waterproof RFID wristband which allows guests purchasing the service to queue virtually for their favourite slides without having to stand in line. Q-band users select their desired ride from self-service kiosks located around the park and are notified by their wristband when it's their turn to ride.  Guests use a separate entrance to enter the ride and skip standing in line.  Once operational, the Q-band system will - for an additional fee - enable visitors to explore the park more easily than ever before.

 

The agreement builds on Lo-Q's already strong presence in North America and also represents a further, significant milestone for Lo-Q's Q-band product.  Launched towards the end of 2011, this installation, once completed, will represent the fourteenth water park globally to utilise the Q-band.
