Director changes

Further to the Company's announcement on 7 June 2021, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Rosalyn Breedy as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.  

The appointment of Rosalyn as an additional director is part of carefully considered succession plan and is, as previously announced, in anticipation of the retirement of the Chairman, Robert Lister, at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2022.  

Rosalyn is a Corporate, Funds and Financial Services Lawyer. She is a Partner at Simons Muirhead Burton and is Head of Funds and Private Wealth, with 30 years' experience working in private practice investment banking and at a multi-family office. Rosalyn has a particular interest in how financial regulation and financial policy work alongside ESG, diversity and inclusion and she regularly writes and speaks on these matters.

The Chairman has commented as follows on the appointment:

"We are delighted to welcome Rosalyn to the Board. She brings a wealth of knowledge in relation to regulated funds and has a unique and diverse background which will complement the Board's skills and experience as a whole."

Rosalyn will stand for election as a Director at the Annual General Meeting to be held in May 2022.
