Final Exercise of Warrants

Application has been made by Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange Plc for a total of 3,479,336 Ordinary shares of 25p each ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List, and dealings are expected to commence on 13 December 2010.

The listing application has been made following the final exercise of all of the Company's outstanding Warrants to subscribe for Ordinary Shares at 100p per share ("Warrants") in the period to 30 November 2010.

The new Ordinary Shares will rank, pari passu, with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company.  Following the issue there will be 34,960,210 Ordinary Shares (with a further 2,186,290 shares held in treasury) and no Warrants in issue.
