Aberdeen Asian Smaller Co's Inv Tst 03 June 2005 ABERDEEN ASIAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (The "Company") In anticipation of the Company's term loan facility with Standard Bank maturing on 5 June 2005, the Company has repaid the £2.5 million drawn down under this facility. The £2.5 million was funded by drawing down funds from the Company's revolving credit facility with Allied Irish Bank ("AIB"). As part of this exercise the maximum amount that can be drawn down under the AIB facility has been increased from £6.0 million to £10.0 million. The AIB facility matures on 5 June 2008 and is now the Company's sole loan facility.
