3i Group plc: Timetable for financial results in respect of the year to 31 March
2008



The Meeting of the Committee of the Board of 3i Group plc at which the results
for the year to 31 March 2008 are due to be approved, and the final dividend be
recommended, has been convened for the afternoon of Wednesday 14 May 2008. The
preliminary announcement of the results will be released by notification to the
London Stock Exchange before 8.00 am on Thursday 15 May 2008.



The expected financial calendar is as follows:

Post accounts to shareholders                    Early June 2008

Final dividend record date                       Friday, 20 June 2008

Final dividend payment date                      Friday, 18 July 2008
