Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC announces the following:

As at 30 June 2008, Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC's capital
consists of ordinary shares of 25p with voting rights. The total number of
shares in issue is 44,673,911. The Company has 2,412,250 shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Finsbury Worldwide
Pharmaceutical Trust PLC is 44,673,911.

The above figure (44,673,911) may be used by shareholders as the denominator

for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify

their interest in Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC, or a change to
their interest in Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC, under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
