                            Resignation of Director                            

Following yesterday's Annual General Meeting, it is announced that Mr Ian Ivory
retired as a Director and Chairman of the Company with effect from 23 July
2008. Mr Martin Smith has taken over as Chairman of Finsbury Worldwide
Pharmaceutical Trust PLC with effect from 23 July 2008.
