                  Appointment of Senior Independent Director                   

The Board of Tullett Prebon plc is pleased to announce the appointment of David
Clark as Senior Independent Director.

David has been a non-executive director of Tullett Prebon plc, and previously
Collins Stewart Tullett plc, since March 2003. Prior to that, he was Senior
Adviser to the Major Financial Groups Division of the Financial Services
Authority. David takes over as Senior Independent Director from John Spencer,
who retired from the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 7 June.
