Temple Bar Investment Trust plc

Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and The London Stock
Exchange for block listings totalling 340,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each to
trade on The London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to The Official List. The
shares shall rank equally with the existing issued shares of the Company.

Shares from this application will be issued out of the following Block
Listings:

The Temple Bar Investment Trust Savings Scheme and a Temple Bar Investment
Trust General Block Listing which is intended to cover issues of shares made to
the market from time to time.
